The Beach Level
Have you ever wondered what happens in your videos games after you've quit them? Who is there to tidy up after everyone?
Enter the NPCs (non-Player Caretakers). In this game you'll take on the role of an NPC for a beach level in a forgotten game where the characters have become depressed, rowdy partiers. The first player is loading in after who knows how many years and you have to clean up...
Everything in this game was done by myself, including the graphics, sound effects and soundtrack. It was made for the SVGS Summer Jam 2022 though I wasn't able to complete the game in time.
Note this game contains BAD language and liberal references to alcohol and drugs! So young kids shouldn't play it. I give this game a rating of 15+
--------------
Now I've actually released the blighter there's some things to bear in mind:
- This game is targeted for 1920*1080 resolution. You can certainly try and play it in a different resolution but I can't guarantee things will display properly.
- I added in a HTML version. I have no idea if it works. I would honestly aim for downloading the Windows or Mac versions. Though I haven't tested the Mac version either!
- It may be buggy. Please let me know if you come across anything particularly glaring...
Install instructions
Preferably download the Windows or Mac version and unzip them where you want.
HTML is fine I guess... the sound isn't as good...

I've just played The Beach Level, and... NOTHING prepares you for this. I cheered. I shouted. I fist pumped the air. I cried. I stood and cheered. It's absolutely everything you hoped it was going to be.
